Kent firm Furley Page has appointed partner Jeremy Ferris as its next head of the property dispute resolution department.
Jeremy takes over the role from consultant David Hall, who is retiring after almost 40 years with the firm. A partner with the firm since 2013, Jeremy offers expertise in a broad range of property litigation cases and wills and trusts disputes. He also handles a variety of other contentious matters, including professional negligence claims and commercial disputes.
Peter Hawkes, senior partner and head of the dispute resolution team, said: ‘Jeremy is an outstanding lawyer and his background as a chartered surveyor gives him particular expertise in resolving property disputes. I am confident he will ensure that our business continues to go from strength to strength.
‘David Hall is an exemplary professional and it has been my pleasure to work with him for many years. On behalf of all the partners, I would like to thank David for his exceptional dedication and service over nearly four decades with Furley Page.’
