Employment firm adds to partnership

Employment firm GQ | Littler, previously known as GQ Employment Law before its merger with global firm Littler in May 2017, has appointed Hannah Mahon as a new partner.

Hannah has been with the firm since 2011, after working at SJ Berwin and Barclays Bank. She specialises in employment law, particularly employment tribunal litigation including discrimination and whistleblowing cases. Discussing her new role, Hannah said: ‘I’m excited to start the next stage of my career and want to build on the exciting and challenging work I have already done for the firm over the past seven years. I look forward to continuing to advise employers on a wide range of issues, including gender pay within the workplace, and continuing to develop my expertise in high value employment litigation.’

GQ founding partner Jon Gilligan added: ‘Hannah joined GQ when the firm was only a year old and she has made an extremely important contribution to our development and growth over the last seven years. She thoroughly deserves this promotion.’
