Firm launches family law practice
Mary-Ann Wright has joined challenger law firm gunnercooke LLP in their City of London office, having previously led the family law team at DWF LLP’s London office. She brings senior associate Raj Bhattoa and a group of in-house family counsel and paralegals. Together they will launch gunnercooke’s family law practice.
Mary-Ann has over 20 years’ experience advising on highly complex and often high profile family law matters, often with an international element. Many of her clients occupy high profile roles within the City of London.
She is also recognised as a passionate ambassador for women in the workplace and is the immediate past chair of the Women Lawyer’s Division of England & Wales. Mary-Ann is an acknowledged expert, frequent public speaker and commentator on diversity issues.
In addition to her UK based high net worth clients Raj has extensive experience of advising high net worth Asian families. She is a fluent Punjabi and Hindi speaker. Raj undertakes a great deal of work generated by her strong reputation among her clients and contacts based both in the UK and abroad.
