Double appointment boosts construction & financial services offering

Harper James Solicitors has expanded its offering with two additional service areas following the appointment of construction and finance specialists Michael Polling and John Pauley.

Michael (pictured), who formerly spent more than 14 years with Simmons & Simmons, joins the firm as head of the construction division, bringing with him 28 years of experience in the building, construction and infrastructure spheres.

John, previously an associate with DLA Piper, joins Harper James as a financial services solicitor. He offers expertise in matters spanning consumer credit, payment services, cryptocurrencies, data protection and money laundering.

In addition to the appointments, the firm has also announcing the opening of its first base in the North West, with a new office located in Manchester.
