Hilary Barlow—Sandersons Solicitors

New senior commercial lawyer for Hull firm

Sandersons Solicitors, based in Hull, has appointed Hilary Barlow to head up its new look commercial department.

Qualified barrister Hilary joined the Parliament Street firm as a senior commercial lawyer in this month. She brings to the company more than 10 years experience working in-house at a top software firm, providing legal counsel to the management team and negotiating all aspects of the company’s commercial contracts. 

Paul Grimwood, director of the firm and head of the commercial and civil litigation department, says: “Hilary joins myself, Katie Atkinson, Emma Greenwood, Edward Allen, Lana Fairfield and Paul Brittain in our newly restructured commercial department, which is the largest team we have had for some years. Our collective expertise ranges from commercial property to wealth management, company law and much more, and between us we have a great deal of experience in handling all aspects of commercial legal work. Hilary’s vast experience will considerably strengthen our commercial department and I am very much looking forward to working with her.”
