Horwich Farrelly has expanded its operations in Ireland with a new location opening in Dublin. The office provides the firm with the ability to do cross border litigation and defend claims anywhere in the UK and Ireland.
The office is headed up by partner Eva Bashford, who joined Horwich Farrelly in 2021 and has over 15 years’ experience in personal injury and insurance litigation in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The firm will also be introducing its HOLT product to Ireland. HOLT will enable claims handlers to make an early assessment of the merits of defending the claim in-house at an early stage.
Ronan McCann, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner at Horwich Farrelly, said: 'Our expansion in Ireland allows insurers to work with people they already know and trust who, together with our Belfast office, are dual qualified with experienced litigators on both sides of the border who can deal with jurisdiction disputes cases seamlessly.
'We have high expectations of our Dublin office, and we look forward to it growing exponentially over the coming months and years.'
