Irwin Mitchell has recently announced the appointment of a new Partner to its Will, Trust and Estate Disputes Team.

Candy Stockton joins the firm’s Gatwick office, having previously been the head of contentious trust and probate in the dispute resolution department at TMW Solicitors.

Specialising in dispute resolution for both private and commercial clients, Candy has wide experience, including handling several high profile matters in the High Court and has successfully completed the ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) qualification.

Commenting on her new role, Candy said: 'Irwin Mitchell has a great reputation for putting its clients first and delivering positive outcomes for them, so I’m looking forward to getting involved here in Gatwick and on a national level. I’m committed to helping clients with Will, Trust and Estate disputes and to be the first partner in the team here in Gatwick is a big responsibility but also an opportunity to do even more for our clients and expand the wider business moving forward.'

Paula Myers, Director of Private Client Legal Services at Irwin Mitchell, added: 'As our first will dispute Partner in Gatwick, Candy will spearhead the growth of the department and our work in the wider London and southern offices. Her broad experience of everything from High Court cases to mediation will be invaluable in our efforts to go the extra mile for our clients. We’re all looking forward to working closely with Candy'.
