Irwin Mitchell has announced the appointment of Eleanor Windsor as its head of knowledge management.
Eleanor has worked with the firm as a consultant since January 2017, and now joins on a permanent basis. In this position she will lead the knowledge management team as well as developing a community for the firm’s professional support lawyers.
Eleanor commented: ‘I’m looking forward to developing our knowledge management strategy further and working with the team and colleagues across the Group to support the business in achieving its ambitions. A strong group services team is essential for the legal teams to be able to focus on delivering the best client experience and we will be ensuring that the knowledge team continues to add value in providing an excellent client service.’
Sarah Ball, director of operations at Irwin Mitchell, said: ‘We want to build up our knowledge management function so that our lawyers across Irwin Mitchell, whether supporting businesses or individuals, have the tools they need to be able to do their job as efficiently and effectively as possible. We already have good resources in place and several professional support lawyers around the business, but Eleanor will now be able to bring that together with a strategy to take us to the next level.’
