Jamie McKie & Gareth Williams—RPC

Two new senior associates for real estate practice

RPC has recruited two senior associates, with significant planning and development expertise.

Jamie McKie moved over from the Local Government Association and brings with him a wealth planning experience, acting for a range of local authorities on complex planning and highways issues, such as the redevelopment of Victoria including Land Securities' new "Zig Zag Building", while Gareth Williams has joined from Dentons where he focused his practice on development. He recently acted for the master developer in respect of the phased redevelopment of the Greenwich Peninsula, working closely with the GLA.

Commenting on the arrivals, real estate head Martin Barrett says: “We’re seeing more activity now from the sector, particularly on the investment and development front and we've strengthened our team accordingly. We are pleased to welcome our new lawyers to RPC, whose capability will enable us to continue offering high quality commercial advice to our growing roster of clients.”
