Data protection & privacy expert joins as partner

Technology and digital media firm Kemp Little LLP has expanded its data protection and privacy team with the appointment of Marta Dunphy-Moriel.

Dual-qualified to practise in Spain and in England and Wales, Marta has previously worked as part of privacy teams at Fieldfisher and Bird and Bird in both the UK and Spain. She has extensive experience in the data protection and privacy fields, including in GDPR compliance regimes and data breaches. She also offers particular expertise in AI and privacy issues within the health, media and travel sectors, and currently serves as co-chair of the data protection committee for the Society for Computers and Law.

Marta said: ‘It’s fantastic to be joining Kemp Little. I feel honoured to be joining a firm with such specialist expertise and a team of people with a passion to match my own. Kemp Little has a wonderful reputation. I look forward to being part of the team and helping develop our DPO and privacy in health offering—as well as doing my day job, of course!’

Managing partner Andrew Joint added: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Marta to the firm. Our data protection and privacy team has been going from strength to strength, forming a crucial part of Kemp Little’s service offering. Marta’s appointment provides a real boost and we look forward to Marta contributing to our continued growth over the coming years.’
