Global firm Kennedys has bolstered the professional liability team with the appointment of four partners and two associates across three of its UK offices.
In London, professional indemnity specialist Paul Castellani has joined the partnership. He advises on coverage issues and defence of claims involving solicitors, surveyors and insurance industry professionals.
In the Birmingham office, a team of lawyers has joined from DWF, comprising two partners, Paul Chaplin and Steve Oates, and two associates, Eliza Kwok and Scott Lawton. Paul previously headed DWF’s professional indemnity team.
Finally, Helen Ager (pictured) has been as head of the professional liability team in the firm’s Taunton office, where she joins as partner from DAC Beachcroft.
The four appointments take the total number of partners at Kennedys globally to 258.
Senior partner Nick Thomas said: ‘These are significant strategic moves for Kennedys, bringing in market-leading lawyers to further strengthen our London and regional offering, which has always grown in response to client need. I welcome them all and I am confident they will enjoy every success with Kennedys.’
