Law Society calls for survey response to planned court closures

The Law Society has asked practitioners to complete a short survey to demonstrate how proposed government court closures will impact themselves and their clients.

The government plans to close 91 courts and tribunals across England and Wales, and integrate or merge 31 more.

The Law Society requests views and case studies to help formulate its consultation response. It has created an interactive map to show the courts affected by the proposals, which also provides details on where the work would move to and how long it would take by public transport to get to the alternative courts.
