London firm Mackrell Turner Garrett has bolstered its ranks with the appointment of seven new staff members.

The recruits, who range from experienced solicitors to trainees, are as follows:

  • Uzma Rabi (pictured), a specialised employment solicitor who advises major multinationals on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including restructurings, TUPE, and collective redundancies;
  • Muhammed Poswall, a commercial disputes solicitor with experience handling a wide array of litigation cases, such as contractual, construction and property disputes;
  • Catherine Cattani, a residential property solicitor who focuses on mortgages, sales and purchases, shared ownership and transfer of equity;
  • Sali Zahar, a litigation paralegal who previously handled more than 150 compensation claims on behalf of Ryanair;
  • Nicholas Earles and Stephen Cartwright, both of whom have been taken on as trainee solicitors; and
  • Sonila Matranxhi, who has joined the business development and marketing team as an assistant.

Mackrell Turner Garrett’s managing partner Nigel Rowley commented: ‘We are very excited to be welcoming so many new and experienced faces to our practice this year. Bringing in new talent is always fantastic and I look forward to seeing what our new team members can achieve.

‘In the last few years, we have enjoyed strong growth and an increase in demand for our services, so by bringing in new talent we are able to offer consistently high levels of support and advice to a much wider international audience.’
