Magna Carta exhibition

Part of the original Magna Carta document will be exhibited as part of the 800th anniversary celebrations. Magna Carta: Law, Liberty, Legacy runs at the British Library from 13 March-1 September 2015. Richard Godden, partner at Linklaters, which is sponsoring the exhibition, says: “Although only three clauses from the original charter still exist in British law, the document’s significance still resonates around the world. Magna Carta establishes the concept of the rule of law; in essence, the concept that no one, not even the king, is above the law.”
