Matthew Hudson—Guest Walker & Co

Commercial property specialist joins York firm

Matthew Hudson has joined Guest Walker & Co's commercial property team from a large practice in Hull and will be working with clients requiring legal advice on all aspects of property development, acquisitions, disposals and lettings.

Matthew brings with him specific expertise in dealing with public houses, cafés, hotels and restaurants, which he gained while working as part of his previous employers’ specialist pub team. During this time he acted on behalf a wide range of landlords, from those with several thousand properties to those with just a few, and has been closely involved in all aspects of the law in this highly complex area.

Matthew comments: “Joining Guest Walker & Co is a fantastic opportunity and I am looking forward to becoming part of a team well known for their professional and friendly approach.  I will be working with them to develop their commercial property service and my specialist experience in the pub trade makes me ideally placed to offer landlords and all those involved in the hospitality sector in and around York a highly efficient service.”

John Walker, senior partner and head of the commercial property team says: “We’ve got off to a great start this year and I am delighted to welcome Matthew to the team. He has already started working on some exciting projects and his specialist knowledge of the pub and hospitality sector will be a great asset to our clients.”
