City firm McCarthy Denning has strengthened the energy practice with the appointment of partner Ashley Wright.
Ashley joins after more than three years as a partner with Pinsent Masons; he has also formerly served as partner with Norton Rose, where he headed the oil and gas practice for South East Asia from the Singapore office. Other previous firms include Ashurst and Linklaters, and he also spent eight years with BP. Ashley has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, including cross-border transactions and disputes.
