David's appointment comes as McCarthy Denning celebrates the 10th anniversary of its founding as the original Next Generation City law firm, offering clients senior-level advice across a wide range of corporate, commercial, property and private wealth practice areas.

Warren Wooldridge, CEO at McCarthy Denning, said: 'David will be a tremendous asset to the Firm and our clients. I think it’s safe to say that his joining us is indicative both of our ability to attract the best lawyers, and our ongoing commitment to providing market-leading advice to our clients. With his impressive track record across 30 years of experience, David’s appointment further augments the depth and strength of what it is already one of the very best legal teams in private equity real estate and comes at a time of increased client demand in this area.'

David Cox, co-head of PERE, said: 'I look forward to collaborating once again with Michael and Iain to enhance McCarthy Denning’s Private Equity Real Estate practice. I'm excited to work with the team to help clients navigate the biggest challenges in the private equity real estate space, while contributing to the growth and success of this brilliant Firm.'
