Moore Blatch hires new land development partner
Moore Blatch has strengthened its land development practice with the addition of Sam Willey, who has joined as partner in the Southampton office.
Sam has moved to Moore Blatch from Southern England firm Ellis Jones. He specialises in residential and commercial land developments, typically working for developers and investors. His arrival comes at a time of change within the firm, which appointed its new managing partner Edward Whittington in September 2017 when David Thompson stood down after 12 years in the position.
Commenting on Sam’s appointment, Edward said: ‘Sam has in-depth knowledge of both commercial property and land development… His reputation for giving clients’ concise, practical and commercial legal advice means he is a very welcome addition to our team.’
Sam himself added: ‘I’ve seen Moore Blatch grow in both size and reputation over the past few years, with impressive rankings in both Legal 500 and Chambers. I look forward to working with them and building on recent successes.’
