Muckle LLP—Rhiannon Griffiths

Firm welcomes back returning lawyer to real estate team

Muckle LLP has welcomed back Rhiannon Griffiths to its real estate team, where she will advise landowners, landlords and developers across the North East. Griffiths, who qualified in 2006, brings more than a decade of experience in commercial property matters.

She previously joined the firm in 2015 before leaving in 2021 to work in education. Her return reflects both her continued interest in legal practice and longstanding ties to the firm and its clients. Muckle’s real estate team is one of the largest in the region and has received recognition for client care and communication, as well as industry awards.

Griffiths said she is ‘thrilled to be back at Muckle’ and described herself as ‘lucky to have had the opportunity to work in a different industry’, adding she is now ‘lucky to have the opportunity to use those knowledge and skills back in the legal sector’. She also pointed to the ‘strong relationships I’ve built here’ and the firm’s ‘collaborative nature’ as key reasons for returning.

Gail Bennett, partner and head of real estate, said it was ‘a natural decision’ to rehire Griffiths, adding the firm is ‘always happy to welcome talented professionals’. She said Griffiths would help ‘further strengthen the team and bring a fresh perspective’.
