London law firm Osbornes Law has recently announced an all-female promotion round.
Family lawyer Claire Andrews (pictured, left) becomes the firm’s 21st partner, just six years after qualifying as a solicitor. The firm now has 11 female partners. Claire joined the firm in 2017 from Gardner Leader.
Head of medical negligence Stephanie Prior (pictured, centre) and family law partner Joanne Westcott were made equity partners. While partner Sophie Davies (pictured, right), who has been with the firm for 21 years, has taken over from Stuart Kightley as head of the firm’s largest team, personal injury. Stuart remains as managing partner.
A further five female lawyers were promoted to senior associate, they are: Jodi Newton (medical negligence), Katie de Swarte (wills, probate and disputed estates), Maria Elliot (property), Maria Kitsiou (family) and Kate Milton (personal injury).
Commenting on the promotions, Stuart Kightley said: 'Well done to all those who have been promoted. I wish them continued success and thank them for their hard work to date.
