Paula Hanlon & Dawn Roberts—Middleton Solicitors

Two new recruits for Liverpool firm

Liverpool-based Middleton Solicitors has made two appointments to its sports law and personal injury departments.

Paula Hanlon joins the firm’s recently established sports law department, having previously been group legal director of the Maghull Group. She was also director of hotel and leisure at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, where she acquired experience of marketing. During her career she has also been a partner at Hill Dickinson.

Middleton’s senior partner Alan Middleton says: “Our sports law department is growing all the time and we have acted on a number of deals and contract renewals between Premier Division football clubs and players.”

“Paula is a fantastic addition to the team. Her knowledge of contract law is second to none and she is going to be a key player for us as the department expands.”

Senior solicitor Dawn Roberts has joined the firm's personal injury department. She brings 16 years of experience in personal injury, much of that time spent dealing with catastrophic injuries. Having built a successful reputation at Hill Dickinson and Berrymans Lace Mawer running high-value civil litigation cases, Dawn’s track record made her a perfect fit for Middleton Solicitors.

“Dawn is a great solicitor,” says Alan. “She always puts the strongest case for her client and she gets results. When you have suffered in the way many of her clients have, that is an important step on the road to recovery and reclaiming your life.”
