QEB Hollis Whiteman Chambers has announced its appointment of Anne Whyte QC.
Anne joins the City of London chambers from Atlantic Chambers in Liverpool. She was called to the Bar in 1993, took silk in 2010, and sits as a deputy High Court judge in the Queen’s Bench Division and in the Crown Court.
Anne has extensive experience of criminal trials and appeals, including serious crimes such as terrorism, homicide and drug conspiracies. She also handles health and safety prosecutions, and in addition focuses her practice on police law, with expertise in inquiries, inquests, judicial reviews and human rights issues.
