Chelmsford firm builds property practice

Samantha Butler has moved from a London firm to join Birketts’ expanding property team in Chelmsford.

Samantha joins the firm as a legal executive and brings considerable real estate experience in both conveyancing and development.

David Habbershaw, head of the residential property team in Chelmsford says: “As well as working in the shared ownership team of a City-based law firm, Samantha brings direct experience of the property sector. She previously worked for the in-house legal department of a well-known Essex-based property developer for six years and offers some interesting insight. We’ve seen a growing number of instructions recently and it was essential that we recruited someone with the right experience to service our clients’ needs.”

Nominations for the Halsbury Legal Awards 2014, in association with NLJ, are now open. Visit the site to view all the categories and enter online. #Halsbury2014
