Sponsoring Ukrainian lawyers

The Bar Council is gathering names of barristers and judges who want to sponsor Ukrainian lawyers to come to the UK, and is hoping to match them with Ukrainian colleagues
It is also encouraging chambers to identify potential projects and work opportunities for those who have decided to stay in Ukraine or who have fled to other countries, as well as supporting sister organisations closer to the front line and fostering dialogue between the Young Bar and its counterparts in Ukraine. Bar Council chair Mark Fenhalls QC said it had been ‘humbling’ to speak to lawyers in Ukraine.
