Tees Law—Nicola Havers & Sarah Walker

East England law firm promotes partners

Two new partners, Nicola Havers (pictured, right) and Sarah Walker (pictured, left), have joined the senior ranks of Tees Law.

Nicola and Sarah both have extensive experience in all aspects of Private Client work and have been Senior Associates and joint Head of the Private Client Department since 2018.

The pair are based in Tees Law’s Bishop’s Stortford office, with a team spread across Brentwood, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Royston and Saffron Walden. They each have their own clients, as well as jointly managing a team of 60.

Talking about their time managing the team to date, Sarah Walker said: 'Our first three and a half years have been about maximising the department’s existing potential and getting things working as efficiently as possible. I am delighted with my promotion and I’m looking forward to being part of the exciting future of Tees.'

Nicola Havers added:' It’s been a steep learning curve, but I’m so proud of how our role and the department have evolved. With our plans for the future and our promotion to the partnership, we’re both excited to see what might lie ahead. Of course, being made a partner is especially gratifying.'

Commenting on the appointments, Catherine Mowat, Senior Partner at Tees, said: 'I’m delighted to see Nicola and Sarah join the Tees partnership. In their time as joint Heads of the Private Client Department, they have led by example in providing exceptional service to clients, as well as managing the growth and efficiency of the department.

'Every partner brings their own personal strengths and qualities to the team and contributes to driving the business forward. Tees is proud to support people in their progression to senior roles and remains fiercely committed to equality for its entire staff.  Nicola and Sarah thoroughly deserve their new positions and I look forward to seeing everything they achieve in the years ahead.'
