Firm recruits pair of employment experts
Midlands firm Thursfields Solicitors has expanded its commercial services team with the addition of two employment solicitors, James Monk and Jade Linton.
James (pictured, left) joins the Halesowen office as an associate after more than nine years at Anthony Collins Solicitors in Birmingham. He advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including tribunal claims, misconduct, and staff grievances.
Jade (right) spent almost four years at Sydney Mitchell Solicitors before joining Thursfields’ Solihull office as an associate solicitor. She is highly experienced across the employment field, with experience in advising on unfair dismissals, discrimination in the workplace, and human resources.
The firm’s head of employment Michelle O’Hara (centre) commented: ‘We are delighted to have appointed two additional employment lawyers to support our growth in this discipline across Thursfields’ offices. Thursfields is rapidly expanding across the Midlands and is attracting high calibre lawyers who want to work for a company that offers them the chance to make a difference to our clients and our company.’
The appointments of James and Jade have continued a notable trend of expansion within Thursfields Solicitors, which has recruited eight new names so far in 2018, the most recent being divorce expert Philip Rea in Birmingham.
