Tony Hyams-Parish, a partner in the employment team at DMH Stallard LLP, has been appointed as a judge in the Employment Tribunal.
Tony has spent the last 17 years with firm—first serving as head
of the employment team with Rawlison Butler LLP before its merger with DMH Stallard
in September 2017. He will leave the firm at the end of June to take up his new
position on 8 July, sitting at London South Employment Tribunal.
Rustom Tata, DMH Stallard’s chairman and its head of employment,
said: ‘I was delighted to hear that Tony has been appointment as an employment
judge. While I am sorry to lose Tony as a partner from the DMH Stallard employment
group, I know that he is looking forward to the next stage of his career. I am
sure that his intellectual rigour, calm approach and empathy will all be very
useful in his new role.’
Managing partner Richard Pollins added: ‘The success of our merger with Rawlison Butler was in no small
part thanks to the invaluable part Tony played in our discussions throughout
the process. Tony possesses a great breadth of knowledge and expertise that
will no doubt demonstrate itself in his capacity as a judge in the Employment
Tribunal.’
