Firm promotes property lawyer
Law firm Trethowans has announced the promotion of residential property lawyer, Mariana Crawford, to senior associate.

Mariana, who is based in Trethowans’ Salisbury office, joined the firm in 2016 and has since played a vital role in the team’s growth and development plans, securing a high volume of new business from multiple housing developers.

During her career, Mariana has gained extensive experience of all types of property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages and buying at auction, with a particular focus on the conveyancing of new builds and secured lending.

‘Buying a house can be extremely stressful, especially during these uncertain times and with the added burden of the Coronavirus, but I enjoy working closely with clients to ensure that the process runs as smoothly as possible,’ said Mariana. ‘As a firm, Trethowans shares in my vision and values and has always provided me with the support that I need to deliver such a high quality of service.’

Tim Higham, head of residential property at Trethowans, said: ‘In addition to her excellent legal work and business development work, Mariana is an ever present, notable and consistent ambassador for our team and the firm as a whole, bringing both fun and professionalism in equal measure.

‘Her natural ability to make a complex process easier to understand, has led Mariana to become the preferred solicitor recommended by many of our clients to their buyers and this is something that we are very proud of.’

Trethowans has been offering legal services to businesses and individuals in the south for over 150 years with offices in Southampton, Salisbury, Poole, Bournemouth and Winchester.
