Firm expands family team

Trethowans has announced that it has appointed three new members to its family law team.

Helen Clarkson, Laura Bell (pictured) and Jaqueline Reeves join the firm with over 30 years cumulative experience, gained at some of the region’s top law firms.

The three new additions specialise in a broad range of family matters including divorce and financial separation, child arrangements, cohabitation, adoption, prenuptial agreements, surrogacy and civil partnerships.

Associate solicitor, Laura, qualified in 2009 and has since trained as a collaborative solicitor and an ‘all issues’ mediator, enabling her to offer clients further options to resolve issues arising out of separation, as well as initial mediation meetings.

Helen Clarkson, associate solicitor, qualified in 2012 and is highly skilled in all aspects of family law, assisting clients with applications to the court and acting as a representative through to a final or contested level.

Chartered legal executive, Jacqueline Reeves, joins the firm with fifteen years of experience in the family law sector and prides herself on achieving the best outcome for clients using a non-confrontational approach.

The announcement comes shortly after Trethowans doubled the size of its Bournemouth office by leasing an additional floor of the building, fuelled by growing demands for its services in the region.

Andrew Mercer, head of family law at Trethowans, commented: We’re delighted to welcome Laura, Helen and Jacqueline to the firm. Their knowledge and expertise will greatly complement our team and enhance our range of services. We look forward to working together as we continue to develop and expand throughout these challenging times.’
