National firm Weightmans has strengthened its energy and utilities practice with the appointment of two partners, Levent Gurdenli and Jim Jordan.
Levent (left) joins the firm after 11 years with Bird & Bird. A commercial projects lawyer, he advises funders, developers and contractors in connection with the development of renewable energy generation, and also specialises in energy management strategies.
Jim (right) comes on board after nine years with Norton Rose Fulbright, and has also previously worked with Watson Farley & Williams and Jones Day. He advises on non-contentious matters in the construction and engineering sector with particular experience in energy, and has also been involved in projects within the oil and gas industry.
