Winckworth Sherwood—Jamie Barton & Richard Mulcock

Commercial property pair join as partners in Oxford

National firm Winckworth Sherwood has expanded its commercial property team in Oxford with the appointment of two partners, Jamie Barton and Richard Mulcock.

Both Jamie (pictured) and Richard worked together at BrookStreet des Roches LLP, before it went on to be acquired by Knights plc earlier this year. Richard focuses his practice on the acquisition of sites for the development of new leisure and retail facilities, while Jamie handles a range of commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, and portfolio management.

Roger Fitton, managing partner at Winckworth Sherwood, said: ‘Bringing Jamie and Richard on board is a significant move for the firm.  Not only are they accomplished operators in the commercial property sector, with an impressive portfolio of current and former clients, they are also experts in one of the country’s most exciting growth areas in the Thames Valley.

‘As Winckworth Sherwood continues to expand nationally, Richard and Jamie will provide vital knowledge to help us grow in this exciting part of the country and across the UK.’
