Newcastle office’s real estate team expands
Womble Bond Dickinson has bolstered the real estate team in its Newcastle office with four key appointments.
Sonal Kang has moved to the firm after more than two years with Addleshaw Goddard in Leeds. She is highly experienced in the commercial property field, and acts on behalf of investors and owners in property acquisition and sales.
Lydia Armstrong has also joined the real estate team after qualifying as a solicitor on completion of her training contract with the firm. She handles a variety of commercial property matters, as well as landlord and tenant issues.
Graduate paralegal Jonny Pearson has joined the firm from a local North East firm, and will support the team on a range of real estate finance matters. Finally, solicitor apprentice Ian Wildish has also joined after completing his A-Level studies, as part of Womble Bond Dickinson’s national apprenticeship programme.
Partner and head of the real estate practice John Ralph (pictured) commented: ‘Real Estate is one of our key sectors. We continue to be very busy and are delighted to welcome all our new recruits to the team. They will all play an important role in supporting clients in the North East region, and beyond, and ensuring we have a pipeline of talented people to continue delivering the excellent client service the firm is known for.’
