Youth court

The youth court could be amalgamated in an expanded family court and the focus switch from punishment to problem-solving and rehabilitation, Sir James Munby, President of the Family Division, has suggested. Giving the Howard League lecture this week, Sir James said the change could be introduced incrementally by deploying family judges to sit in the youth court, immigration and asylum chamber, and health, education and social care chamber.
