Stewarts—multiple promotions

Stewarts promotes eight to partnership in largest ever promotions round

Stewarts has promoted eight senior associates to the partnership, and two to the role of legal director, in its largest ever partner promotions round.

The eight new partners are Pia Mithani and Zachary Sananes in commercial litigation, Emma Holland in trust and probate litigation, Sophie Chapman and Lucy Gould (pictured) in divorce and family, Anna Wiseman in personal injury, and Alison Goldney and Amy Heath in clinical negligence.

In addition, the firm appointed Rebecca Hill and Kara Smith from personal injury as legal directors.

John Cahill, managing partner, commented: 'I am delighted that we are in a position to promote eight very talented senior associates to the partnership.

'Whilst we continue to make lateral partner hires (four in this financial year) there is no doubt that the retention and promotion of our home grown talent remains absolutely critical to our success and plans for the future.'

These promotions bring the total number of partners to 75 and legal directors to six.

As well as the partner promotions, 14 associates were promoted to senior associate.
