Tomorrow’s Forum of Insurance Lawyers (TFOIL) has announced the appointment of Alison McAteer as its next president.
Established by the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL) in 2013, TFOIL aims to enable insurance lawyers with less than five years’ post qualification experience to engage with counterpart organisations in the insurance and loss adjustment sectors. Alison, who is also a senior solicitor with Brodies LLP, takes over the role of TFOIL president from Kishan Mangat of DWF.
FOIL chief executive Laurence Besemer added: ‘It is a pleasure to see Alison take the reins as president of TFOIL. Her unique experience will enable her to bring a lot to the role, working closely with the rest of the TFOIL committee. It is fantastic to see the continued growth of TFOIL and the encouragement it gives young lawyers and their firms to forge professional relationships that will last for many years to come.’
