Kennedys brings new partner on board in London

Global firm Kennedys has bolstered its team in London with the hiring of Katherine Proctor as partner. Katherine joins the firm after three and a half years with Clyde & Co as a legal director in the international arbitration group. Her areas of expertise lie in insurance, reinsurance and commercial disputes, including property, casualty and liability cases. She also offers particular experience in Bermuda Form disputes.

Katherine stated: ‘Kennedys has a well-established reputation in my two core practice areas of re/insurance and general commercial disputes. It is a progressive firm, with a rapidly expanding global presence, which supports the international nature of my practice’

Kennedys’ senior partner Nick Thomas said: ‘Katherine’s appointment will boost our global re/insurance practice further, and build on our London Market and Bermuda Form capabilities that have been strengthened with recent hires in London, Bermuda, Chicago and New York.’
